Tommy Robinson is currently serving time in a high-security Category B prison under harsh and isolating conditions, despite being classified as a Category D prisoner. This classification entitles him to greater rights, privileges, and access to more humane treatment, including placement in an open prison. Yet, the government continues to deny him these rights, leaving him isolated and in conditions that are a blatant violation of his human rights.

Isolation of this kind is not only unwarranted but deeply damaging to Tommy’s mental health. Prolonged solitary confinement is recognized internationally as inhumane and degrading, and its use in Tommy’s case raises serious questions about the fairness and transparency of his treatment. If he is entitled to the freedoms and privileges of a Category D prisoner, why are these rights being withheld?

This petition calls on the government to uphold its duty of care and ensure Tommy Robinson is treated fairly and lawfully. We must add that in fairness to the prison warden and staff, they are treating Tommy with respect and care as much as they can. Unfortunately, they are governed by power above them who control the way in which Tommy is treated. These higher powers are violating Tommy’s human rights.
